QUOTES:

TRU head coach Kelly Shantz

On Contest: " This one stings. We have been playing a developmental game all year with this young group but we knew this one was big. A win and we would be tied with UBCO with a shot at the playoffs. We didn't come out in the first half and execute the things we had been talking about all week.  It is a shame because we came out in the second half and executed those things and took it to them for 45 minutes. We played fantastic in the second half. Still things to fix but the second half was so much better. It was what the first half should have been."

Heat head coach Craig Smith

On Contest: "It wasn't one of our best games but the girls dug deep at the end. We are happy to come away with the three points."
