CALGARY – The University of Calgary Dinos' strong first half propelled them to a 41-17 win against the Lethbridge Pronghorns Sunday afternoon at McMahon Stadium

The two-time defending conference champion Dinos played a strong first half leading the game with 29-0 and extended their Canada West winning streak to 19 consecutive games

"In the first half we executed the game plan that we wanted to do," explained Dinos Head Coach Simon Chi. "In the second half we did not deal with the winds and the elements as well as we should have. Lethbridge came back big and strong and they put a couple points on the end to turn around. In a couple weeks when we play them again it will be a big challenge but we are looking forward to it."

"Full credit to the Dinos in the first half. They played a really solid first half and got up big points. We tried to fight back but just too many mistakes by us," reflected Pronghorns Head Coach Neil Langevin. "Missing a bonus point down the stretch might hurt us, but I am proud of the girls and the fight, we came back in the last 20 minutes."

Calgary led 29- 0 in the first half with tries from Taejah Thomson, Kasselle Menin, Hannah Penkala, Elysa Sandron, and Berlyn Seselja, and a pair of conversions by Isla Shill.
