  • The Cougars earned four of a possible six points against Regina last weekend winning in regulation Friday and falling in overtime on Saturday afternoon.  
  • Lehtbridge also had a good weekend, splitting with the fifth place Saskatchewan Huskies.
  • Neither the Cougars nor the Pronghorns have qualified for the playoffs.

Mount Royal holds a 5-4-1 record over the Pronghorns in their all-time series.

MOUNT ROYAL COUGARS (4-1-16-5, 7TH in Canada West)

Shawni Rodeback vaulted all the way to third in team scoring with a three point weekend against Regina. The first year defenceman had three goals to boost her season points total to 7.

Jess Ross made 73 of 77 saves this weekend including 40 of 41 on Friday night, to preserve the Cougars 3-1 win. She followed it up on Saturday stopping 33 of 36 pucks that came her way.

Friday will mark the final home games of two of the Cougars' best players. Fifth years, Tanika Dawson and Taralynn Suzuki will be hanging them up after this weekend.
 
LETHBRIDGE PRONGHORNS (5-0-21-0, 8TH in Canada West)
 
Lethbridge has had a tough time scoring goals this season, but an even tougher time keeping them out of their own net. The Pronghorns have scored 30 goals this season and have allowed 86 in 26 games played this season.

Sadie Lenstra is the Pronghorns' leader in both goals and points this season. Her 13 points (7G, 6A) are three more than her linemate Jenae Culp.

Crystal Patterson has played all but 20 minutes for Lethbridge this season. She has five wins and 0.910% save percentage, including one shutout this season.
