THEY SAID IT!! (post game quotes):

TRU Assistant Coach Chuck Ferguson::

On the Contest: " I thought we brought good effort and good intensity. Better in the second half than in the first half.  What we didn't do well was we didn't block out and take care of the ball. We gave up too much middle penetration that resulted in a lot of in the pain points for them. They had 28 and 14 off turnovers. It is pretty hard to win when you are that careless with the ball. I thought Megan Rouault did a great job attacking. She just couldn't capitalize on her opportunities."

Manitoba head coach Michelle Jung (5th year):

On who stood out: " I thought in the first half that Taylor and Nicole did very well keeping composed. We worked a lot on quality scores . I thought they bought into that in the first  half. In the second, I thought Emma and Clare came on strong. We talked about balanced attack and I thought through 40 minutes we got that today."
