KAMLOOPS, BC - The Thompson Rivers WolfPack battled back three times but wound up falling short in the first game of the 2013 portion of their season, falling to the UBC Okanagan Heat 76-59 on Saturday
at the Tournament Capital Centre.

The WolfPack fall to 4-7 on the season while the Heat move to 2-9.

The Heat got 20 points from Mitch Goodwin, who added a team-high eight rebounds. Yassine Ghomari also had 20 points. The WolfPack were led by Kevin Pribilsky's 20 points and Brett Rouault had 18.

The WolfPack and the Heat are both at home next weekend (Jan 11-12) as they host the Lethbridge Pronghorns and Calgary Dinos.
