QUOTES:

TRU head coach Chad Grimm:

On what he told his team before the third and fourth sets where they turned it on: "We did a better job on picking up on picks and rolls. We made them score the ball a little bit more. We didn't let them get out of jail in bad situations. We served the ball tough and Sask struggled on serve/reception.  Teams know that once you pass off the net, blocks can set up. Kaitlin in the middle closed the blocks and put them in trouble."

On veterans Windhorst and Lomas leading :  "They stepped up. Lomas did good job of scoring points but also on the service line. We struggled a little bit in the first set and missed some serves when times got a little bit nervous. She took it in her own hands and served some tough balls at critical times. That was nice to see."

Saskatchewan coach Mark Dodds (3rd year,):

On match: " A tough loss. To lose 25-8 in any set at any point in the season doesn't feel real good. We need to take a long hard look at this match and figure out what happened and make sure it doesn't happen again."

On the third set: " I think their consistency seemed to take over. We battled back and battled back. It is tough to play .  As you saw, it took its toll and went their way."
