EDMONTON –  Reigning Canada West Outstanding Player Antoinette Miller headlines the 2017-18 conference women's basketball all-stars, which were unveiled Thursday ahead of this weekend's conference semifinals.

Miller was one of 15 all-stars named, along with the conference's five-player all-rookie team.

The Winnipeg Wesmen guard enjoyed another tremendous season in 2017-18, posting a Canada West best 25.9 points per game. She is joined on the conference's first all-star team by Maddison Penn (18.8 PPG) of UBC, and Tessa Ratzlaff (18.4 PPG) from Trinity Western, who finished second and third in scoring respectively this season.

In total, 13 of the conference's 17 members are represented on at least one of the four teams. Leading the charge in terms of school representation are the Wesmen (G – Miller, F – Faith Hezekiah, and G – Robyn Boulanger) and Regina Cougars (G – Kyanna Giles, F – Charlotte Kot, and G – Carolina Goncalves) with three players each.

While the Wesmen's season ended this past weekend with a quarter-final loss to the Saskatchewan Huskies, Regina's CW title hopes live on after a series sweep of the UBC Thunderbirds.

The Cougars, who host the U SPORTS national championship March 8-11, look to take one step closer to a conference banner this weekend when they take on the Calgary Dinos in the CW semis beginning Thursday.

In the other best-of-three semifinal the Huskies and their two all-stars host Ratzlaff and the Spartans in Saskatoon starting Thursday night in Saskatoon.
