QUOTES:

TRU Head Coach Scott Clark:

On the Contest: " It was exciting. Our thought our defensive effort was pretty good throughout the game. We messed up a couple of too many times. Just straight breakdowns in the second half. Maybe two or three times. If you took away those atrocious breakdowns away. On a night you didn't shoot the ball that well, you give yourself a chance to win. That wasn't the case and it was a close ball game"

Fraser Valley head coach Adam Friesen (6th season):

On the difference in the game: " We played a lot smarter in the second half. We were a little more under control. Looking forward to tomorrow and hope we can put together more than 20 minutes of good basketball. Give credit to them, they did a great job on defense in the first half. Their ball pressure and mixing defense made us uncomfortable. We started to play fast and undisciplined. We were more controlled in the second half."
