MBB: Dinos bounce Bobcats to remain perfect

BRANDON – The fourth-ranked Calgary Dinos continued their winning ways on Friday night by dropping the host Bobcats 92-70.
 
Calgary gained the upper hand with an early 9-2 lead. After the first quarter, the Dinos' advantage was six points.
 
In the second, the Bobcats battled back. A 14-5 run saw BU go out in front 30-27. Another 5-0 surge shortly after built their lead to 35-29 with 3:10 left. It was 39-39 at the break.
 
After halftime, the Bobcats and Dinos were deadlocked 46-46, before momentum shifted solely to the road team. Calgary's lead was 60-56, before closing out the third on an 8-0 run.
 
The Dinos scored another eight straight points to begin the fourth to put the game out of reach.
 
Calgary had five Dinos reach double figures. Mambi Diawara had 21 points, while Mason Foreman, David Kapinga and Lucas Mannes added 13 points apiece. Lars Schlueter scored 11 points for Calgary who upped their perfect record to 7-and-0.
 
Tyvon Cooper collected 16 points in a losing cause for the Bobcats, who fell to 2-and-3. Jonathan Range recorded 14 points and Pookie Saunders scored 12 points for BU.
