Huskie Athletics is pleased to announce a new five-year radio broadcast deal with Saskatoon Media Group for University of Saskatchewan Huskies' football games.

The deal will see all eight conference games, as well as any non-conference and playoff games broadcast live on CJWW (600AM). Huskie football will be the exclusive Saskatoon football team with play-by-play on the station. The broadcast will also include a 60-minute pregame show at the new Huskie Athletics Rally Alley and a 30-minute postgame show.

"We are excited to start this new partnership with Saskatoon Media Group," said Huskie athletic director Basil Hughton. "Huskie football is an important part of the Saskatoon and Saskatchewan community and we are proud to be featured on Saskatchewan's most listened to radio station, CJWW.

Play-by-play for the Huskie Athletics games will be provided by CJWW Morning Show host Dave Thomas, while colour commentary will be filled by Huskie football alumni. The broadcast will also include a sideline commentator.

Saskatoon Media Group general manager Vic Dubois is thrilled to have Huskie football on Saskatchewan's most listened to radio station.

"It is an understatement to say we are huge football fans here at Saskatoon Media Group, as for many years we have broadcast the games of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Saskatoon Hilltops," he said. "What we have been missing is the top-notch action of CIS football and our always competitive U of S Huskies. We are very excited that now Huskie football will be heard on CJWW for years to come. The 2015 football schedule will be released by the Canada West in April.
