Football: Jerry Friesen, 2004 Canada West Coach of the Year, returns to Riders

REGINA - On June 30th, 10-year Alberta Golden Bears head coach and 2004 Canada West Coach of the Year Jerry Friesen joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders as a special teams / defensive assistant coach.

Previously, Friesen played as a linebacker for the Montreal Alouettes and Roughriders before retiring and joining the Saskatchewan Huskies coaching staff, where he was a member of the 1990 Vanier Cup team.
