LONDON, Ont. It marked the second straight win for the East at the all-star classic showcasing CIS football players who will be eligible for next year’s CFL Canadian draft. After losing the first five contests from 2003 to 2007, the East has now won three of the last four duels.

The 61 combined points eclipsed the previous record of 60 set in 2006 when the West prevailed 34-26 in OT in Quebec City. In addition to the 2011 and 2006 games, the 2007 East West Bowl also required extra time (West 22, East 19).
